Hello! My name is Elizabeth "Ashley" Suber. Although I am a HUGE Mississippi State Fan, I received my Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood and Special Education from Delta State University, home of the Fighting Okra.

I am currently perusing my National Board Certification in the area of "Exceptional Needs Specialist." I hope to complete this "World Class Teaching Program" by the Spring, in order to be eligible for certification in December of 2019.

This is my 8th year working in the school system. I have been employed in both public and private schools around the state of Mississippi, but it is safe to say the Yazoo County School district is one of my favorite districts!

The majority of my teaching experience has been in the General Education curriculum, but transitioning to the Special Education Department has proven to be where my passion for students and teaching lies. I am very fortunate to be part of this wonderful BGS True Blue Team!

I am married to a wonderful YCHS graduate, Justin Suber. We have a precious two year old daughter, sweet Miss Haldey Rae. Our family currently resides in Madison, Mississippi.

I have always believed that every child is capable of learning and succeeding. My husband's job has enabled me to teach and advance my vision for education in several districts in Mississippi, including Greenville, Greenwood, Starkville, and Yazoo City, to name a few.

Thankfully, we are now in a permanent location, and  I AM PROUD TO BE A PANTHER!!! I love being involved  with the YCSD Special Education Department. I have a passion for servicing, educating, and advocating for ALL of our exceptional students.
